From the North (A65) Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale, M6

From the A65 travelling towards Skipton take the Settle turning signposted B6480.

Continue along the B6480 for approximately 2 miles passing the Golf Course to the right hand side. Proceed along the B6480 up the hill past the Hart's Head Hotel, again to the right hand side. Bear left around the corner at the top of the hill and drop down the other side between Settle College to the right and the Swimming Baths to the left. Ahead is the bridge over the River Ribble which denotes the boundary between Giggleswick and Settle.

Cross over the bridge and immediately turn left onto the B6479 signposted for Langcliffe, Stainforth and Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Continue along the B6479 through Langcliffe passing the Old Paper Mill on the left hand side and Taitlands (The Old Youth Hostel) also on the left hand side.

When you approach the turning for Stainforth, on the right hand side, continue on the B6479 for about another 100 yards and the turning for the Wonder of Wood Limited is on the left hand side.

You have reached your destination, look out for the sign at ground level by the entrance. Be careful, when making your turn, to indicate in plenty of time as traffic can close up quickly from behind from round the bends. We suggest you start indicating just after the Stainforth turn.
